Your care is led by Dr. Nihar Patel, a triple board-certified physician — in Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Longevity Medicine — with more than 20 years of experience spanning emergency medicine, intensive care, hospital medicine, internal medicine, and longevity medicine. He is supported by clinical wellness experts. We work alongside oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, ayurvedic and energetic care rather than in a silo, because the goal is your outcome, not our territory.

Frequently Asked Questions

We do not bill insurance directly. However, we do accept HSA and FSA funds, and we can provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Important note: Labs and imaging orders are placed by your physician but are fulfilled and billed directly from laboratory services such as Lab Corp or Quest. Labs will bill your insurance directly, but some specialized testing may not be covered. If you have a question about what tests are or are not covered by your policy, please be sure to inquire ahead of testing. 

Many members do, and we coordinate with them. Others make Birdsong their primary relationship. Both work.

That is the point. Your physician reads every finding, orders any further imaging or referrals needed, and stays with you through it. One member's imaging raised a neurological question, and her physician ordered follow-up imaging her insurance covered and followed her through the entire journey.

No, and we will say so. Your Longevity Advisor call exists to determine fit before you commit. Imaging is one input, and your physician will explain what it can and cannot tell you.
